Charles Rwebembera joined Hope Care Rescue Mission (HOCRAM) in 2020 during his tenure at Home Harvest , a Ugandan based Distribution company, where he was a general manager.

As HOCRAM Board Chairperson , Charles is charged with the role of organizing, strategy development and giving direction for strategic implementation to the board. He is also responsible for leading the board and focusing it on strategic matters, overseeing the organization’s business, and setting high government standards.

He plays a pivotal role in fostering the effectiveness of the board of individual directors, both inside and outside the boardroom.

With a bachelors in Agri-business management and a certificate in Business leadership and Entrepreneurship, Charles has many years of experience working for international NGOs’ and private sector., delivering strong leadership across various thematic areas including vulnerable groups,livelihoods, education, child protection, health, social inclusion and business management. He is driven by innovation and has a passion for working with and for impactful institutions.
