Muhoza Elizabeth was attacked in 2019 by her ex–boyfriend. The cause of the attack was her objection to relinquish custody of their kid after their separation.
We first met Elizabeth in 2018. We visited her in the hospital and provided psychosocial support, which helped her learn to accept herself and improve her self esteem.
She has participated in the 2021 microloans training program. She used the money to start a shoe business. She also received food donations during the COVID-19 relief program in June 2021.
